This site is predominately in mature native bush, including a puriri that must be some hundreds of years old, and streams flowing down rocks.
The boundary with Lot 8 and the road to the West is a ridge line. The building site of Lot 2 is a flat area nestled against this ridge line, which creates a very sheltered position.
